Serhii and Craig preparing for a charity skydive to raise funds for the Children’s Bereavement Centre as they both turn 40 in May.

Serhii and Craig are taking on a charity skydive this May to celebrate their 40th birthdays and raise money for the local Children’s Bereavement Centre.

This May, two colleagues are marking a major milestone in a truly unforgettable way. Both turning 40 in the same month, they’ve decided to take on a huge personal challenge — a charity skydive — to raise funds for the Children’s Bereavement Centre.

It’s more than just a leap of faith. It’s a meaningful way to celebrate a milestone birthday while supporting a cause that helps families through the most difficult moments of their lives.

Why this charity?

The Children’s Bereavement Centre provides specialist support for children and young people, as well as their families, who are coping with the death of a loved one. Their work includes:

  • Bereavement counselling and therapeutic support

  • Support groups for young people

  • Practical guidance and resources for families

  • Specialist support for schools and professionals working with bereaved children

Every donation helps ensure these vital services can continue, offering comfort and support when it’s needed most.

How you can help

Serhii and Craig are aiming to raise £1,350, and every contribution makes a real difference. You can read their individual stories and support them via their JustGiving page:

If you’re unable to donate, sharing the page is just as valuable — helping them reach more people and support the cause.

Thank you for supporting their challenge and helping to make a positive difference in the lives of local families.
